Happy, happy birthday!!!

Today is my hubby's birthday.
If you know him very well....then, you'll realize that this picture....is...exactly him....this is how he dresses....he wears his "sweat band" during the summer months, at work and at home.  That's his normal....silly....crooked smile.

Yesterday....we spent most of the morning in the ER. He was being checked out because of a lot of discomfort he was having in his chest and his regular MD wanted him to go to the ER.  From all the tests that were ran, it seems he probably has pulled some muscles in his chest and upper back.

Before we left for the hospital....I was getting some things together in the kitchen....and I thought of when my Daddy passed away....it will be 15 years this coming Friday....and I remember how bad it was to go back home and see all of Daddy's stuff still right where he had left it.
I told Pappy while we were in the room waiting on the doctor to come back with his test results....that I couldn't do that....I could not go back home by myself....that he better not do me that way.
Yeah...that was very selfish of me, I know.
But....don't you think....that after almost 33 years together....I have a right to lay claim to him....to call him mine....to be a bit selfish over him?
Yeah...I do, too!!
I just want him to know how very much I love him....and to let him know....that despite acting otherwise sometimes....I am sooooo blessed to be his wife!!!

Ephesians 5:31-33
As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.  So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Thank you Lord....for blessing me with Jack!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
