Inclement weather

The first time I heard the term "inclement weather" was when I was about 18 years old. I had started a new job in the "big city"...and being a country girl, had never heard bad weather called "inclement".

Any-who....due to inclement weather, we didn't have church today.

Since God already knows this...I'm gonna go ahead and say it "out loud"....thank you, Lord, for the snow day You gave us!!! The roads in our neighborhood are white. I stepped out on the back porch and slipped...didn't fall...
THIS TIME (since I've fallen on those steps twice already)!!!

A different kind of "snow owl"!!!

So...what's a girl to do when she's cooped up inside....and should be cleaning....she searches for a new crochet pattern....digs thru her yarn stash....and gets to work!!!
