Laugh and the world laughs with you....

.....cry and you cry alone!!!

I found out last week just how true that statement really is!!!
I appreciate all of you who left me such precious comments and prayed a little prayer for my "mood".....and for my trials.....as I do for each of you when you come to me with your problems!!!
It let me know the meaning of "true friends"!!!

I've gotta share this with y'all.  Pappy had a couple of meetings at church yesterday afternoon....one at 4:30 and another one at 6:00....so he went on alone.  They were predicting heavy thunderstorms, so I opted to go see the Jess and the boys around 4:00 and didn't get home until close to 6:30.  As I drove home, I prayed about something that's been heavy on my heart and asked God to show me the path He wanted me to take.  When I got home, a sweet brand-new follower had left a comment on one of last week's posts....and her precious words were a direct answer to the prayer I hadn't prayed not 15 minutes earlier!!!

Ain't God good?
Oh, yes He is!!!

So....since I promised no more doom and gloom this week.....did you all realize that yesterday....May 2nd....was World Laughter Day?
I thought that was very appropriate since I want to start this week of blogging off on a happier note!
So, to celebrate....even if it is a day late....hope y'all enjoy these pics I found.....hope they bring a smile.....or, maybe even a chuckle.....hey, who's gonna know if you just go ahead and laugh out loud?!?!?

  1. Good Morning, Sweetie!
Oh, those pictures are too much! What a great way to start the week!
On another note, I just have to share with you, God wasn't just answering your prayer when he connected the two of us. Yesterday, before I read your comment to my comment (this is getting a bit confusing, isn't it!), we had been discussing at our family devotions ways in which we could "reach out" more to others. We're a pretty quiet family, so sometimes that is a challenge for us.My husband has been doing such a terrific job sharing the Lord at work, and my sons had some great examples of "evangelizing" that happened with them this week, but I felt as though I needed to be doing more. I shared with them about my blog, and how I hoped that it might send some encouragement to others. Right after devotions, I checked my e-mail, and well, you know the rest of the story! Isn't God amazing!

Have a wonderful day and keep smiling!
    With blessings and love,
    Laura
