Our own worse enemy

Do you have somebody in your life who is very critical of you?
No matter what you do....or how hard you try....there's somebody who makes you feel like it's just not good enough....that you could have done better?
This person makes you feel so inadequate.....and sometimes even goes so far as to make you feel worthless?

Well...there's somebody in my own life who does those very things to me....and....it's ME!!!

But....you know who influences me to feel that way....to think those negative thoughts about myself....it's satan (and I won't give him the satisfaction of capitalizing his name!!!).

Yep....if he can keep us feeling that way about ourselves....then, he will keep us in a place where we don't feel like we can be of any good to God.
And....to me....one of the worse ways that satan can accomplish this....is by plotting one Christian against another....and when he's able to do these things....well, he's one happy fellow!!!

So....dear readers....let's stand united and prayerful....that God will give us the strength and courage....that when those negative thoughts creep in....we can simply say....as Jesus did....
Matthew 4:10 (NLT)
"Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him.
“For the Scriptures say,
‘You must worship the Lord your God
      and serve only him.’

Happy Monday to each of 'ya!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Thank you so much for posting this. Are you sure you aren't writing about me. This is my biggest problem. I always say that I don't need enemies because I have myself. Let's band together. I call santa the little creep. Can't stand him.

  2. I do the same thing, say to my self I'm not good enough or I call my self names because I can't do it write or someone does it better then me. I do think of that Scripture a lot of telling satan to get out but he tends to creep back in. It sure is a battle and I won't give him the satisfaction either, I even yell or tell him that too. Thanks love ya.......:)
