Our God...is an awesome God!!!

Over the weekend, Pappy and I were talking about finances....and how when I worked we didn't have as many concerns about about money....but we went on to agree.....our life is so much better now depending on the Lord to meet our needs....rather than thinking that that we're doing it ourselves!!!

Also....on Sunday....I shared that I wanted EVERYTHING that I do to be for HIS glory....in a re-dedication of my life to HIM!!!

Then....as I sat down on Monday morning to read a couple of devotionals....here was the title of the first one:

"Lord, Make Me An Instrument"
(courtesy of “More of Him Less of Me” by Jan Christiansen)

And the scripture reference:

Romans 6:13 (NLT)
Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.
The second devotional was titled:

"More Important Things"
(courtesy of Journey- A Woman’s Guide to Intimacy With God)

The devotional was about becoming greedy and not always appreciating the things that God has blessed us with....and here was the scripture reference:

Proverbs 28:25 (NLT)
Greed causes fighting;
trusting the Lord leads to prosperity.

And....here was the prayer at the end of the devotional:

"Father, thank You for providing for my needs.  Help me to always remember that everything comes from You.”

Don't you love how God just gets downright personal with us?!?!?
Yeah...me, too!!!
There's nothing like getting God's confirmation....
His "stamp of approval"....and sometimes....when needed....even His reprimand!!!

Tuesday Blessings to each of you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. Dearest Deb,
Sometimes this world is so frightening...I'm ever so thankful for the peace that comes with turning my life over to Him...sometimes daily...sometimes hourly! Loved your post...as usual!

  6. Even though it's Wed I do play catch up on the internet and I love this post. God is always reminding me to trust Him and to let Him have control of my life for I can't do it on my own. He lets me know when I have stayed to far and I'm learning to really depend on Him. I told Him yesterday that I want to be a tool for Him while going to work. I can't do it on my own anymore. Thanks and love ya! :)
