Thankful for the Trail!

I bet you thought I meant "trial", huh?!?

Nope....I've been meaning to write something about my morning walks for several weeks, but keep forgetting to take my camera with me....until yesterday!!!
I really do feel so blessed that I live where I can get out and walk....and also so grateful that God has blessed me with the health go be able to do it....
other than my plantar fasciitis...OUCH!!
:(

So....let's get started....

You can hardly tell where the socks stop and the white legs start.... ;)
And....don't look at my ugly shoes, please....I've ordered a new pair since I've worn the heels down on both pair that I walk in....
....my Momma used to fuss at me for that!!!

The first road I head down....

Stop signs serve as a reminder to slow down (at least  my mind)....and notice things around me!!

Sweet reminders of family.....

Lots of flowers....
Marigold
Crepe Myrtle
Spider Lace
 Morning Glory

And....wildlife....

Kitty cat wanted a little lovin' (and she got it)

Leaves already starting to turn....
....and fall....
And....a bush full of spider webs....which I thought was just beautiful!
Hope y'all have enjoyed a little glimpse of my "neck of the woods"!

Thursday Blessings to each of you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Those are wonderful photos. I wish my walking route was so scenic. And that you were nearby so that we could walk together. My Mister can't keep up with me.

  2. Good Morning, Sweetie!
Don't you just love taking a walk? I go ever morning...when it nice and early and everything is just waking up around here. I have "flat feet"...so I go a pair of those "shape ups"...my son calls them my rocking chair shoes...they are a bit pricey...and took a little getting used to...but they are the greatest for walking! I would highly recommend them.
    Have a blessed day,
    Laura

  3. Love the pics. Don't care to much for spiders, yek but especially love the pic of the squirrel. The look on his face seems like you caught him doing something he shouldn't. Just love natural pics of things.

  4. Beautiful. We really do live in God's country, don't we? Amazing what beauty you can find when you have a camera in your hand!

  5. I love my walks as well. I suffer from plant faceitis (spelling?) as well, my doc gave me some great exercises. Use a soup can and with a bit of pressure roll it forward and back with the bottom of your bare foot. Do a couple times a day, it has really helped mine, making my walks all that more enjoyable.
