30 Days of Truth - Week #4

Week #4 - Something you have to forgive someone for

I had this answered already....even had the post ready to publish....but as I was walking yesterday morning, I felt the Holy Spirit speaking to me (actually felt it as I was writing the words, but tried to ignore HIM)....that it just wasn't what HE wanted me to write.....because I was writing what Deb wanted!!  As I've shared with y'all before....this blog belongs to HIM....and He's kind enough to allow me to share some personal things on here with you!!!

So....here's my answer to the "truth" this week....

Luke 23:34a (NLT)
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing".

First of all....any hurt feelings that I might ever have....don't compare to what Jesus went thru....and how He was mistreated.
And....secondly....I truly hope that when we do hurt others....that it's not intentional....that the hurt we inflict comes from our own hurting heart....and that none of us actually go out of our way to cause another to feel any kind of pain....be it physical....emotional....or even spiritual!

Matthew 6:14-15 (NLT)
“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. Thank you for this post. We can never really know what our heavenly Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit went through in order to redeem our souls. So if Jesus said we need to forgive because we are forgiven, then we must forgive.
But isn't is amazing that only God can help us truly forgive down deep in our hearts.
Thank you again for this message.
    Blessings
