Friday Fragments

WOW!!!
I'm really not sure what's happened to my life....but the last few weeks...it's been FULL to the brim.
Please know that I'm not complaining one bit!!!  I made a vow....a commitment....a few weeks back to try my best to stay off the computer so much....and it's working....a lot because there are so many other things that are taking up my time!!!
:)

Since it's Friday....and on Friday's I try to keep my posts "light"....here are a few things that made up my week!!

1)  Picked up this panel at Wally World one morning this week....and got excited cutting it out before I thought I might take a pic of it.  I'll share the finished product once I get it all completed!
2) Thanks for all the input and suggestions on continuing the recap of scriptures in the New Testament.  I've  been taking notes all week as we've read so I'll share what touched my heart each week, just like I have been!!

3)  This might be of interest to some of you!!!

4) If any of you pack lunches for your kiddos....or GRAND-kiddos....you've gotta check see these. If you've never heard of "bento" lunches....go see what they're all about.  Kelly makes the cutest lunches for her daughter

She's AMAZING!!!

5)  You've just gotta see this....it's one of the cutest things ever!!!
You can even go to Following Phubie for a complete tutorial!!
Oh, to have a little girl to sew for!!!

6)  I finished up a pillow for Little Bit....but failed to get a pic....sorry!!!

7)  I found a brand new blog this week....and I'm thinkin' I might just want to move in with this family....just kidding!!!
;)

Check out Stone Gable when you get a chance!!!

8) Both of our GRAND-sons are sick with some kind of upper respiratory "crud"....and so is their Daddy and Momma....and....I think Pappy might be coming down with it, too....so please offer up a little prayer for all of them, please!!
(and can I be selfish and ask that I don't get it?!?)

9)  Also....while you're praying....would you say one for my Momma....she's having some problems, too?

10)  WOW....I actually made it to TEN!!!
And, it just wouldn't be Friday without a recipe, now would it?!?  I made these last year around this time and shared the recipe....but it's worth repeating!!!
They are DELICIOUS!!!

Pumpkin Bars

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 15 oz can pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Grease bottom of a 9x13 pan. For the crust: mix together the dry yellow cake mix (minus 1 cup), 1/2 stick melted butter, 1 egg. Spread in the bottom of the pan.
Mix together the can of pumpkin, brown sugar, pumpkin spice and 2 eggs. Mix with spoon and pour over unbaked crust.
Take the reserved cake mix, sugar, cinnamon and butter - not melted. Mix all together with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over the second layer.
Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350.

Happy Friday, Y'all!!!
HOPE all of you have a great weekend!!!
