Do you hear what I hear?

If you look up the word listen....and of course you all know how much I love Merriam Webster....here's a great definition to what "listen" really means....
"to hear something with thoughtful attention:
give consideration"

I figured it was about time for a "true confessions" post.  Sometimes....okay, a lot of times....I don't really "listen"I try.....but so many times, my mind is racing on down the road instead of  concentrating on what's being said....right now!!  I really am ashamed to admit this....especially since I have friends who read this and probably are wondering about now if I'm hearing what they say to me!!!

I'm confessing this....to let y'all know....that this is something that I'm working on.  I'm trying harder to concentrate on what's being said to me....to pay closer attention....and you've gotta know at my age, that ain't easy!!!
;)

 I'm so glad that I don't have to worry about whether God is really listening to what I'm saying....because without a shadow of a doubt....I know  that God hears....
....LISTENS....
....and answers....
....our prayers!!!

Psalm 86:1-10
 Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
      answer me, for I need your help.
 Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
      Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
      You are my God.
 Be merciful to me, O Lord,
      for I am calling on you constantly.
 Give me happiness, O Lord,
      for I give myself to you.
 O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
      so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
 Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
      hear my urgent cry.
 I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
      and you will answer me.
 No pagan god is like you, O Lord.
      None can do what you do!
 All the nations you made
      will come and bow before you, Lord;
      they will praise your holy name.
 For you are great and perform wonderful deeds.
      You alone are God.

AMEN....and AMEN!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
