So...here's what happened....

.....we were driving up the Interstate Friday night, headed to get a prescription filled....and some supper.  Pappy had just shared something with me that if it had happened to us 5 years ago....I would have been devastated....but I had not much more than gotten out of my mouth that in the long run, this situation would turn out to be a blessing....and this car passes us with a bumper sticker that said,
"God's in control".
Then, as if that wasn't confirmation enough....this was on a church sign beside the CVS that we stopped at to pick up my meds....

Isaiah 41:10

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Ain't God good?
Oh, yes HE is!!!
(I'll share the situation with y'all as the Lord directs)

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Hi Deb:

I haven't visited you in a while, but this post caught my eye. My husband and I were just talking yesterday about a situation we are currently in. (He is jobless right now). Anyway, this happened to us several years ago and neither of us handled it well. However, this time (even though I have my moments) we are looking upon this situation in a different light - we know that God is in control and that He is bigger than anything we face.

    Thanks for this post!

    Blessings,
    Joan

  4. Thanks for sharing Deb. My daughter's are looking over my shoulder and now my eldest is explaining to my youngest what the church sign means. So all of us were able to share in the great message.
