Showers of Sweetness!!!

I left y'all kinda hanging on Saturday when I said I would be back today to share with you one of the sweetest showers I've received in a long time....and yet another confirmation that EVERYTHING works together for good to them who love the Lord!!!
Romans 8:28

For any of you who are new here at Jeremiah 29:11, then you might need to know that I call a blessing a "sweet shower".  But....before I get to that....I want to share a few other "sweet showers" that have came my way!!!

Last Friday, I spent the day with my precious friend, Ms. Dawn.  We don't get to see each other often, which is sad, because we live a couple of hours apart.  But....lookie what she brought me....
He's hanging on my visor and makes my car smell sooooo good!!!

SONday morning as I walked from SONday school into the sanctuary, I was so surprised to see a couple of friends had come to visit.  I went over to talk to them, and sweet
Ms. Bonnie handed me this....
She had gone to a jewelry show and saw this and thought of me....how "sweet" is that?!?!?
She also told me such a precious story about her husband, Mr. Lloyd, who was a dear friend to Pappy and me.  They were at an auction and a cardinal was up for bid....and he told Bonnie that he wanted to get it for me!!!  Just knowing that made my heart so happy!!!  Please add Ms. Bonnie to your prayer list, as she is still grieving the loss of
Mr. Lloyd.

I won an apron from Ms. Yosefa at
and it arrived.  I it....but, what means even more to me is something she took the time to make especially for me....

And....look at the other side, written in Hebrew.....
Ms. Josefa lives in Israel and I didn't even realize that until the package arrived!
I will cherish this little ornament forever!!!

And, now....for probably the ultimate "sweet shower".  My car is fixed!!!  It's a long story....but let me say that every little bit of it was a God-thing....from one mechanic wanting close to $1,500 to fix it (it cost us around $600)....to the tow truck driver having "Born Again" in his back window!!!  Mr. Jeff, who Pappy helped to get her running again....well, last Thursday was his last day to work on the job 'cause remember he and Pappy are loosing their jobs.  He got my car running that night....Thursday night.  I told him that if the car had torn up after he left....then, he wouldn't have been around to give Pappy advice on what to do and that we had seen God in so much during the saga of our car.  He held up his arm and the hairs were standing straight up (what I call Holy Spirit chills). I won't go into all the details....but according to some things that he shared with Pappy and me....we truly believe that our car tearing up included God working in Mr. Jeff's heart!!!  And, until all was said and done, I didn't know that Pappy had been witnessing to him while they worked together on my car!!

All the thanks and praise and glory....
go to HIM!!!
HE is AWESOME!!!

HOPE you have a terrific Tuesday, Sweet Reader!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
