Meeting with my Friend!!!

Last week I got out of my normal routine of getting up and meeting with my best Friend.  Even though I still talked to Him and searched for and found Gideon Bibles while in the hospital with my Mom....it just wasn't the same as it is each morning when I settle down into my $15 thrift store chair and ask Him to speak to me thru His Word!!!

Ahhhhh.....there's nothing else like it....meeting with my Friend each and every morning over a cup of coffee and a Good Book!!!

 Psalm 25:14
The Lord is a friend to those who fear him.
      He teaches them his covenant.

How 'bout you?
What's your favorite way to meet with your Friend each day?!?

HOPE your Wednesday is full of sweet blessings!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. I feel so guilty saying this but often times my world gets so busy and chaotic that something has to happen to get my attention.. Its like he's saying hello.. you really do need me, whether you think you do or not. And it might be something as simple as a bird, or a flower or even a cloud floating by. But when I do actually calm my mind long enough to remember him myself, It usually in the car or at night when I lay down. Those are about the only two times things are quiet around me.

Love you Debbie and hope you mother is doing better! <3

  3. My favorite way? 'Bout the same as yours...
(And I really, REALLY like your $15 thrift store chair!)
I also like it that He's sort of like a "back door friend" and shows up quite unexpectedly at times and lets Himself in! (Hmmmmmmmmm. I may have to create a post about that...It's true!)

Your chair and afghan look so comfy for visiting a friend in! It's fun to catch a glimpse of your owl collection!

Thanks for joining the hop! I hope to see your posts often...you can add as often as you like!
