Have you ever had somebody give you advice based on their own life experience? Often, we don't listen, do we? We think we already have it all figured out and know what's best for ourselves....or, we don't handle "constructive criticism" very well and instead of listening to the advice, we get offended. Sometimes, others might see us headed down the wrong path and with our very best interest at heart....try to steer us in the right direction!!!
I really like the "Good News Translation" of
Proverbs 25:12
A warning given by an experienced person to someone willing to listen is more valuable than gold rings or jewelry made of the finest gold.
Dear Lord....may I be willing to listen to those You've placed in my path to help keep me on the "straight and narrow"!!!
In HIS Most Precious Love...and with mine!!!
Amen i Pray i will always have a teachable heart God bless

ReplyDeleteHi There - wow, great post. Sometimes I know for me my pride gets in the way, great reminder to listen and be humble. God may actually have something in those words of others.
