Liar, Liar.....

.....pants on fire!!!

Remember that little ditty from when we were kids?
I didn't like it then....and still don't like it now....and almost didn't even want to use it as a post title....but feel it totally gets the point across!!!

I recently came across this little "sign" on Facebook.
My sweet blogging friend, Ms. Mary, had this as her status....
(you can visit her @ Visits with Mary)

Don't you just love it?!?!?

It's a wonderful example of my 2012 word...."TRUTH"!!!

Numbers 23:12
God is not a man, so he does not lie.
He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act?
Has he ever promised and not carried it through?

And....since God cannot lie....
....here's another "truth" in HIS Word about being a liar and a deceit.....

Proverbs 26:24-26
People may cover their hatred with pleasant words,
      but they’re deceiving you.
They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them.
Their hearts are full of many evils.
While their hatred may be concealed by trickery,
their wrongdoing will be exposed in public.

Now....you can't get much more blunt that that!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. I always tell people their nose is growing (Pinocchio) if I know they are lying.. Don;t you hate it when someone looks you in the face and does it.

  2. Jesus prayed, "Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth." So essential to know the Word, isn't it? That's why I like that "sign" you posted at the beginning....

  3. Truth sets us free and lies entangle us....We get to choose.....Thank goodness we can always depend on God to tell us the truth even when man doesn't.....

    Great post...
