"Truth"ful Tuesday!!

Are you all keeping track of your "word for 2012"?
Are you seeing how often God speaks to you thru your word?
My journal is getting pretty full of lots of "truth" God is bringing to light.
Here are a few more truths He revealed to me this past week.

If any of you can gain something from my notes....then, I think that's wonderful....God is speaking to us both!!!

Psalm 146:6
He keeps every promise forever.

Psalm 146:9
The Lord protects the foreigners among us.
He cares for the orphans and widows, but He frustrates the plans of the wicked!

When you really care for someone, you speak the truth,
even when it's difficult.

It is a perfect time to share Christ's unconditional love and apply the truth of the gospel to a hurting heart.

John 14:6
Jesus said, "I am the way, the TRUTH and the life.

John 14:17
He is the Holy Spirit who leads into all TRUTH.

Loved this "truth".....
It doesn't strengthen our faith muscle to pray and then devise a plan just in case God doesn't come thru!!!

"The providence of God will not place you where His grace cannot keep you."
~~~Mark Buntain~~~
 So, Sweet Readers.....how 'bout you?
How/when/where is your word showing up?!?
Hope each of you has a great Tuesday!!!
In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
  1. God's TRUTH shared, never "returns to Him empty"! They accomplish His purposes. Keep it coming, friend.
    I am having ample opportunities to "practice" GRACIOUSNESS! Thanks for asking :)
  2. Yes, my word being commitment ...in the midst of suffering, sorrow and pain I am committed to exalting His Name among all...committed to not pamper self thru the indulging of bitterness and retaliation ...when offense comes but committed to be a doer of His Word and not a hearer only!   3. Hi Deb
    I am writing today about how my word ~ obedience~ is showing up this week in Josh. 1:5-8.....On God telling us to read His word day and night....and the results of doing that. I love how God is blessing our words!
  5. I didn't choose a word, cause I know myself too well. I'm a multi-word kind of girl and can't settle down to just one for the entire year, cause I keep finding new ones that I like. Wish I could be more like you when it comes to choosing a word...
  6. Ever since I chose a word for 2012, I've felt like I was in the middle of a big fight. Satan does not like my word for 2012 because I'm actually trying to do something.
    My word was "SOW". I want to sow in tears. Tears over the lost. Tears of the broken and hurting.
    I also want to SOW seeds of kindness, gentleness, peace, forgiveness.
    This morning I heard David Jeremiah say:
    "Careless habits are like sowing to the wind. A wrong word, an immoral activity, an angry look--all these will bring forth results. On the other hand, a wise word, a spiritual activity, a smile, a word of witness, a gift, a Gospel tract--these will not return void.
    The principle of the harvest is true in every aspect of our lives--we reap according to what we have sown."
    The evil harvest of sin and the good harvest of righteousness are as sure to follow the sowing as the harvest of wheat and barley. Life is not casual, but causal.
    D. L. Moody
    1. Oh, Ms. Janet...I totally agree with you. So many "truths" have been shown to me since God gave me that word....some about myself that I truly don't like (but need to know)...some about others...and I know that the old devil is having a field day with all us CHRISTians choosing a word and claiming it in HIS Name!!! Love your word SOW....great words of wisdom from David Jeremiah and D. L. Moody!!! Hang in there...we've almost made it 3 weeks!!! ;-)
  7. Hi Debbie, It was really impressed on me last year to always speak the truth, which can be hard if it means hurting someones feelings.. But, I still do now,yet try to be gentle. It makes you feel better knowing the truth is said. Gods truth is so much better than ours, His promises never fail.
