Happy 35th Anniversary!!!

Thirty-five years ago today....a very naive young lady married a likewise naive young fellow.  We kind of grew up together, just learning as we went along!!!  I hadn't dated very many other boys besides Jack (he wasn't Pappy then....;-)....and he dated nobody else but me.  It took me many years....and lots of maturing....to realize that this man is my very best friend!!!   I love him so much, with such a different love than when we first married.  We've been thru a lot together, some not so good, like the deaths of 3 of our parents....but other wonderful times to  treasure like the birth of our only daughter, Jess, when he  gave her away at her wedding and she chose her Mom to be her maid of honor, because as she said I was her best friend!!!  And, we have to include our precious blessings....the births of our GRANDsons!!!!

He proved to me once again just this week what a wonderful husband I have.  I took a fall and got a bit banged up earlier in the week.  Before I could gather myself enough to get up off the asphalt, Pappy was standing over me praying.  I shared with some others that I truly believe it could have been so much worse, if he hadn't prayed for me.

Yes....that's my man....and what a blessing he is to me!!!

Ever since we first heard this song, it's became "ours".
So today, I dedicate it to my precious husband.
I love you, Jack....
....more than you will ever know....
....and thank God for bringing us together!!!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have good pay for their work.  For if one of them falls, the other can help him up. But it is hard for the one who falls when there is no one to lift him up.  And if two lie down together, they keep warm. But how can one be warm alone?   One man is able to have power over him who is alone, but two can stand against him. It is not easy to break a rope made of three strings.

I'm so glad that our marriage is made of those three strings....
Pappy, me and our precious Lord and Savior!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!
