It Just Ain't Fair!!!

Photo: This has so been my life the last 6 months!!! But....it could be worse!!!

I posted this little "sign" on Facebook and you wouldn't believe the "likes" and comments I got....simply because there are so many people who  could relate.

Life really isn't fair, is it?

I read a little book years ago entitled
"Why Bad Things Happen to Good People"?
I can't remember a single thing that book had to say about the topic....
....but I do know what THE BOOK has to say about it....

First of all, I don't need to think I'm too good for troubles and trials....

Mark 10:18
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked.
“Only God is truly good.

Romans 3:10
As the Scriptures say,
“No one is righteous—not even one.

And....God is no "respecter of persons"....

Matthew 5:45b
For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good,
and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

A lot of the bad stuff that happens in our lives....it's difficult to say....but we bring it on ourselves, then try to blame others for it.  But, often things happen that we have no control over!!!  I'm a firm believer that those types of things....are simply....to bring glory to our precious Lord and Savior.

I Peter 1:7
These trials will show that your faith is genuine.
It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. The good thing about the bad is the lesson we hopefully learn, and that we become better and not bitter. Much love Crystal xxx

  2. I agree....and sometimes "those things are to for us to learn obedience" as Jesus did...scriptures stated Jesus learned obedience through the things he suffered...who are we that think we should be exempted? Morning Deb!
