A Daughter's Love!!!

When I read this, I was reminded of something that our daughter wrote and gave to me on my birthday about 14 years ago.  She was 19 at the time and was in the hospital for spinal surgery, due to scoliosis.  She knew that we would be at the hospital on my birthday so she packed it in her suitcase so she could give it to me....all while hooked up to an IV and a morphine pump.  I kept a little journal of that time and went back and read it recently and all the "God things" that happened during that ordeal.

The framed letter sits on my nightstand.
Jess even hand-painted the mat.

You know how sometimes we feel like the things we've done go unnoticed and are just for naught?   When I re-read this I was reminded once again that those thoughts are nothing but from the devil himself.

We serve such an awesome God!!!

I love you, Jess!!!

III John 1:4
I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth.

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!

Blessings,
Deb

  1. Hi Deb,

What a precious memory. I come across little notes and cards and things from my daughters and grand children and it does certainly lift the spirit.
