Fantastic Friday - Edition #28

Have you ever had a week that was like riding a roller coaster?
My week has been that way.....lots of highs and lows this week and certainly not something I would call "fantastic".  I won't bore y'all with the details....but will share something that happened yesterday that was such one of the highs!!!

 I have a precious blogging friend, Ms. Becky at Rise Above Your Limits.  She is such an inspiration to me because she truly has risen above the limitations of  being in a wheelchair!  If you get a chance, please visit her and leave a sweet comment on her blog!!!

 I got a personal e-mail from her yesterday and since she knows how much I  acrostics....
.....here's what she included.....

D= dear friend
                          E= endless spiritual strength
                 B= beautiful crocheter

Don't y'all love how God knows exactly what we need and when we need it?!?  Pappy and I had spent all day yesterday at my Mom's helping clean up the brush from five trees she had cut and we were both totally exhausted.  I sat down to read my e-mails and re-group a bit and read the e-mail from Ms. Becky and I knew it was God's way of smiling down on me, helping me to pick myself up from such a rough week and carry on!!!  I'm not sure about the "endless spiritual strength", though....that's not been very true for me this week but did give me the encouragement to carry on!!!

And....another sweet blogging friend, Ms. Cindy at Creations by Cindy sent me a link to a free crochet pattern for some pretty flowers.....which I immediately pinned!!!

Can you tell my friends know me oh, so well?!?!?

How 'bout you?
Can you pinpoint something that's happened to you this week that you could say just made your day?!?!?   Leave me a comment and let me know!!!

Also....I would be most appreciative if you would link up your blog below.
You don't have to post about it on your blog, unless you want to....but would love to be able to make new blogging friends this way!!!

Hope  everybody has a "Fantastic Friday"!!!
As for me....I'm headed back to my Mom's!!!
Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment....and right now I'm at about a #4.9!!!

In HIS Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

Blessings,

Deb

  2. I well remember putting in a few physically-exhausting days like you're talking about a couple of months ago, Deb. It pushed me to my limits.
    Isn't it like the Heavenly Father to balance it out with such thoughtful and timely messages from friends?!?!?!

  4. God smiles on me every day! HE lifts me up and keeps me going even when I am slumped so low.

    This week a friend called and I will be receiving an item that I had told her once I had wanted. It is an opportunity to improve my finances. I don't know how to do, nor do I have the supplies, but HE gave me the opportunity and HE will show me a way!

  5. Deb, you DO have endless spiritual strength. I'm sure all of us who are familiar with your blog know that you have the ability to pull yourself up. Endless spiritual strength doesn't mean we don't have our ups and downs, but it means we can pull ourselves up and see the Lords hand in our daily lives...HUGS

    I think one of my 'highs' this week was when my granddaughter called and asked if I wanted to buy some pies from her for a school fundraiser. She's 9 years old and lives in a different state. After reading me the list of 30 different pies, she said, "Grandma, I can't deliver the pies until Christmas, but can you send the money now?" Love that girl!

    Happy weekend!
