I read this verse of scripture in the The Message translation, and it just summed up how I feel. I never want anybody to think that I "have this all together", or that I "have it made". But....I am certainly well on my way, reaching out for my Jesus as He reaches out for me. And, PLEASE NEVER get me wrong....because by no means am I an expert in anything (except, maybe making mistakes)....but I do have my eye on the goal.....and I'm definitely not turning back!!!!

Really. if we do turn back to our old life after living this one, there is no comparison. Life is much harder without a Saviour to lean on and share our burden. xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYour post today made me think of the poem "Footprints." Our walk with Christ is full of stumbles and sometimes we just fall down, it's then that He carries us until we can walk on our own two feet again. We serve an Awesome God, His mercy endures forever!
