Kisses From Katie!!!

Do y'all know who Katie Davis is?
I had heard lots of amazing things about her, but until I read her book, I just didn't know what a totally awesome young lady she truly is.  If you get a chance, check out her blog, Kisses from Katie.  I've spent quite a bit of time lately pouring over her posts.  She also has a ministry that she named Amazima....which means "truth" in the Luganda language.
"TRUTH"....my word for 2012.

When I got to that part of her book about a week ago,
I just had to put it down and do a bit of worshiping!!!

If you get a chance, watch this little video and you'll see what a huge heart this young lady has for orphans and how she has committed her young life to working with people in a part of the world where people are the poorest of the poor.....Uganda....where our GRAND-daughter is from.
I also learned that in the Luganda language, I'm jjaja....which means Grandmother!!!
Wonder if I can get the boys to start calling me that instead of Nannie?!?!?
Probably not!!!

Isaiah 1:17
Learn to do good.
    Seek justice.
Help the oppressed.
    Defend the cause of orphans.
Fight for the rights of widows.

In HIS Most Precious Lve....and with mine, too!!!

Blessings,
Deb
