Wake-up call.....

I recently read the following testimonial from a gentleman.
The article was about how he had regained his health by changing his diet....
but what I gleaned from his words was much more wisdom than just about loosing weight.

Creator showed me all the ways I was abusing myself and showed me how I’d been giving my power away to others as a way of self-perpetuating misery in my life. I was told that I no longer had to identify myself by all the pain I’d experienced in my life—what had happened to me was not who I am, and it was time to stop living that way. In an instant, something shifted in my consciousness, and I felt the effects ripple through my physical being. Another insight came when I realized that a large part of stepping out of the victim role required me to take full responsibility for all my decisions. No more blaming everyone else for the failings in my life and bad decisions I’d made. No more waiting and hoping for some rescuer to come along and save me from myself.

I Corinthians 15:33
Do not be misled:
“Bad company corrupts good character.”

Proverbs 13:20
Walk with the wise and become wise;
associate with fools and get in trouble.

In HIS Most Precious Lve....and with mine, too!!!

Blessings,
Deb

  3. Wow! God really wants me to get this message today! I was just reading this morning that we can't let our situation, or other people, or the busyness of life distract us from being who God wants us to be. Blessings Deb!

Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
