they remind me a lot of Mumford Sons, another favorite.
I read this song described like this.....
the lyrics aren't meant to glorify arrogance they are meant to bring to light the fact that there are too many professed Christians whose arrogance leads them to believe that they, not Christ, are the "Difference Makers."
The lyrics are meant to help people recognize that arrogance and to want to do something about it when they do.

Stop acting so proud and haughty!
Don’t speak with such arrogance!
For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done;
