Wisdom from my Momma.....

Well.....
Pappy's week of "stay-cation" has come to an end.
He's back at work.
My house is a wreck because obviously one doesn't clean and do laundry when they're on vacation.
I have no time to clean it today.....
because I'm back to keeping the two "littles" on a Monday.
Jess has a doctor's appointment this afternoon.....
so there'll be more time with the kiddos and no time for household duties.
I've scheduled some repairs to be done at my Mom's this week.....
so I'll have to be there when that takes place.
Plus, she's adamant that she gets 4 trees cut down.....
and I "get to" help with the clean-up.
Tomorrow evening is a class I forgot I signed up for.....
about an hour's drive away.
(at least Jess is driving)
A friend and I wanted to meet at Micky D's for a tea this week.....
so in HOPE's that can happen.
And....
on top of all of that.....
I also signed up to be a part of a 6-week weight loss challenge.....
which beings TODAY!!!
(which also adds to my low mood,
considering I have to post my weight)

Whew.....
whoever said life slows down as we age.....
totally told a big fat lie!!

As my Mom says.....
"life gets tedious sometimes".....
and....
"things never stay the same".....
and....
"it won't always be this way"!!!

(Psalm 39:4-5)

Breathing in grace,

  4. I understand about the littles. I LOVE babysitting my grandson more words could tell, but it makes it a challenge to get much of anything else done! Praying that you find a peace that passes understanding in the midst of your busy week! ((HUGS))
