On the doorposts.....

Deuteronomy 6:4-9
  Listen, O Israel!
The Lord is our God,
the Lord alone.
And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
all your soul,
and all your strength.
And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.
Repeat them again and again to your children.
Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road,
when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.
Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

These are all signs we have in our home.
They're all there to serve as a reminder.....

of God's grace and mercy and kindness and love!!

Breathing in Grace,

  3. Love your signs Deb. I have a few in my home too, like you, I enjoy these reminders around me. In our old home I had stenciled Joshua 24:15 over the double doors going into the den. I've been wanting to do the same here but we now have very high ceilings and I don't think I need to be that high on a ladder trying to stencil. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with lots of Blessings from Above!

  4. Hi Deb! Let me say again that you have the most gorgeous headers I have ever seen. I really enjoy them!
I was thinking as I saw all your signs that I would love to have most of them. And then you said you did! I go to a local store called Hobby Lobby, and they have a lot of these types of plaques. I wish I had a place for all of them. What an inspiration each day. Thank you for sharing them :)
    Blessings,
    Ceil
