Whatever your hand finds to do.....

Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with all your might.

In case y'all might be wondering why I use this verse of scripture whenever I show something that I've made......
well, it's because it's the verse that represents "Wise Old Owl Designs".
That's me.....
except, sometimes I'm really a "not so wise owl".

Any-hoo(t)....
LOL.....
here's one of Wise Old Owl's latest.....

It's safe to show it now,
because it's already gone to it's new owner.....
my precious friend, Dawn!
These are the colors she's going to be using in a room in their new home.

Here are a few details of how this was put together.
The burlap comes 3 to a pack and was purchased at Wal-Mart.
I created the "Home Sweet Home" as a Word document and chose the color and printed it right on our old HP printer and then stitched it onto muslin.
(am I the only one who just 's muslin?)
I sometimes forget I have some decorative stitch options on the sewing machine, but this time I remembered and chose the heart design. The back of the pillow was done in an "envelope" so it can be removed and hand washed, if need be.  The ruffled fabric around the edges came from Wal-Mart, also.   And, because I don't like to do the ruffles in the traditional way of stitching and gathering, I just folded as I went along and did a different sort of ruffle.

Yes, I can be a bit lazy.....
or ingenious.....
yeah, that sounds better!

Ms. Dawn seemed very pleased with her new pillow.

I've been busy, busy working on CHRISTmas gifts and also have gotten a few orders for crocheted hats.

I truly want whatever my hand finds to do to be done for HIS glory!!!

Breathing in Grace,
