Are you a worry wart?.....

Have you ever thought much about the word "wart" being associated with worry?
It sounds kinda funny to me.....;-)
But, just as warts can be irritating and painful and unsightly.....
so can worry do the very same thing to our emotions and even our physical appearance!

As humans, it's very difficult for us to not worry.
It certainly cannot be done outside the realm of resting in the peaceful arms of our Lord and Savior!

There is verse after verse in the Bible that talk about worry.....
you can click here for a long list!

I recently won a book from Ms. Kimberly Taylor because of a Bible verse I submitted to a little contest she was having.  I was able to choose which book I wanted to receive and this is the one I picked.....

Oh, how the words from the heart of this Christian lady are speaking to my own anxious heart and mind and giving me lots of things to "ponder" upon!

Ain't God good?
Oh, yes He is!!!

HOPE all of you have a Thankful Thursday.

Stay warm......
resting in HIM!!!

Breathing in Grace,

  1. Yes! God certainly is good! His word for me for 2015 is "Joy"...He's teaching me that I can't have joy when I worry...and I'm learning a lot of Scripture along the way. :)

Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
