Friday Foto.....

A lady on Instagram last week challenged her friends to post their Senior picture.
I posted this one with this caption.....

To have known then what I know now....
but that's now how it works.
I heard Katherine Hepburn say once she wondered who that woman staring back in the mirror at her is.
I feel the same way.
I'm still that young girl,
but who is that old woman looking at me.

How about y'all?
Do you know where I'm coming from with that statement?
On the inside, I'm still that same young lady.....
with over 40 years of experience!
LOL!

HOPE everybody has an awesome weekend!!

Have fun.....
stay safe.....
enjoy life!!!

Breathing in Grace,

  3. Hi Deb! Between the roses in your header, and the photo, this place is full of beauty. What a lovely portrait. Of course I know where you're coming from! I see my photos from the past and wonder what I was thinking at the time...
God bless you this weekend as you celebrate Mother's Day. You've come a long way baby :)

    1. Oh, Ms. Ceil, you're so sweet to say that! I really didn't post the pic for compliments. I don't think I've aged very well....at least not gracefully! ;-) But, I am who I am and I want to continue to serve HIM as long as I'm able....even unto old....um, older age!!! LOL HOPE you have a Happy Mother's Day, too!

    1. If only we had the wisdom we do in our older years when we are young. We wouldn't make nearly as many mistakes, but that's how we grow and learn and mature! Happy Mother's Day, Ms. Karen.

    1. hank you so much for stopping by, Ms. Melanie. It seems our lives are somewhat backwards....if only we had wisdom in our youth when we are energetic...instead of in our "golden" years! ;-) HOPE you have a great weekend! Happy Mother's Day!

  7. Such a pretty lady then and a pretty lady now. I sometimes think that mirrors like to play dirty little tricks on us!! Have a great week-end!
