{ PONDERing on 2015 }

On Monday morning, December 29, 2014, I felt God give me the word "PONDER" to PONDER on in the New Year.  I've always loved Luke 2:19 that says  Mary kept all these things and PONDERed them in her heart.  I like to do that, too.  Think back on sweet memories and PONDER on them.  I kept a little notebook and wrote down things I would see/read that I felt God was nudging me to remember and think about.  I want to say I've  grown in my walk with Him in 2015.....
but, I know I can ALWAYS do better.
I've felt His Spirit, it seems, even more than ever.  I try to look for Him in all situations, and want to focus on that even more in the coming year.

After sharing my "word" last year,
a precious blogging friend, Ms. Rebecca at Sane, Simple, Sacred left me these song lyrics:

"Praise to the Lord,
Who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
PONDER anew what the Almighty can do,
if with His love He befriend thee."

This morning, I'm doing a bit of looking back over the last year.....
last several years, actually, and PONDERing on all the many blessings God has given me.  Even during those rough times (sickness/financial/job loss), God was still doing a work in my life......
mostly, in my heart!
(often having to  hit me up side my head to get my attention.....LOL)

Ain't God good?
Oh, yes He is!!!

Happy New Year's Eve, Sweet Friends!

  2. I'm glad that the Lord gave you your word for 2016. Ponder is a powerful word. God has to often "hit me upside the head" too to get my attention! Have a Happy New Year.
