{ Miscellaneous Monday }

I thought I'd share some pics with y'all today of things that make me smile.....
or laugh out loud!

Spider Lace that comes up volunteer every year.
I these flowers because the original seed came from Mammie, my paternal grandmother.

Our new grand gecko, Lizzy Grace.
If you saw my post on Facebook, you know it's gonna be Nannie's job to feed this reptile when the kids are out of town.  The bad part, besides that THIS.IS.A.REPTILE, is what it eats.
LIVE crickets, People.

I saw this T-shirt at Wal-Mart and wondered if you could buy them in bulk!
LOL!

I went for my physical last week and this was on the wall in the exam room.

There's a young lady I go to church with who sells Thirty-One products.  Occasionally, she has a "flash sale" on her Facebook page and that's where this zipper pouch came from.  I LOVE it (can you tell me why?) except it didn't have handles.  So, I dug through my stash and found  this webbing in a dark green, cut it to the length I needed, sewed it to the bag......
and now I it even more with handles!

And, I'll leave you with this.
My hubby didn't understand the humor in this at all.
Please tell me that you all find it as funny as I do.

HOPE everybody has a Marvelous Monday!

  1. LOL; it took me a minute on the pizza, but I get it now. I love the sign in the doctor's office; we all need to remember that daily. Um... no on the gecko... ha ha. live crickets???? just no! I recently acquired a clump of irises that originated from my great grandmother's garden; I am praying they will thrive for me. Love the Spider Lace that you have.

  4. I'm still pondering the pizza thing. I'll get it eventually. The owl bag is so cute. My hat is off to you regarding Lizzy Grace. The live crickets would do me in, I think. You're made of stronger stuff. Have a great day.

  6. Oh dear. I don't mind the catching and touching crickets part, but I don't think I want the lizard. Our grandsons had an iguana and I really didn't care for it, but if they needed me to watch it, I guess I could! I thought your lizard was a snake at first. Yikes!

  7. My Mom had spider lace everywhere when we were young and I really don't like the smell of it but the flowers are beautiful! I would feed the lizard for my grandchildren but I would not want to, but we do anything for our grandkids, right! I had a sugarglider for a while and they eat live crickets and mealworms.
