{ Under the weather }

Just wanted to drop in and say "hi" and let y'all know that I've been under the weather as the old saying goes.  What does that even mean?  Anyway, I went to the doctor last week and got treated for the vertigo (sure hope none of you ever have that nasty stuff), then SONday Pappy and I both came down with a tummy virus, thanks to our youngest grandson who found the need to share his with us. Mercy, it's hard on old(er) folks to get over things like that.

I'll be back Friday for FFF, but in the meantime, PLEASE be in prayer for a family member who is having a biopsy tomorrow to check for lymphoma.  It's our prayer that it's ONLY an infection and can be treated with antibiotics.  Also pray that we can get the results more quickly than they are saying.

Thanks, sweet Friends.

  5. Vertigo is NO fun!
    Praying for a return to health for both of you, Deb.
    Meanwhile, steward your time well. Stop. Drop. Roll.
    Stop any/all frenzied activity. Drop into bed or comfy chair. Roll your burdens & body onto Jesus. (He cares for you.)

  8. Lord Jesus - we know You are our Healer, the Great Physician. This is why I lift Mrs Deb and her family up to You today in prayer. We ask that Your healing surround Mrs Deb and her husband as they recover from the stomach bug they have been dealing with. We pray that Mrs Deb's recovery from the vertigo will be quick and complete. Lord, we also pray for her family member waiting for test results. We ask that the results will show no lymphoma. I know You will be with them as they wait for the results. Please work in ways that enable them to feel Your comforting presence so they may know your peace which passes all understanding. Whatever, the test results are - we know You are in control and that You work all things for good. We will trust in Your Holy plan. We pray in Your most Holy name of Jesus. Amen.
