{ Thought-Provoking Tuesday }

What did Y'all think of the eclipse?
Wasn't it AWESOME?!?!?

If you weren't able to see it in your part of the country,  I'm pretty sure you've seen photos by now on the news or all over Facebook.  A young man in our church drove a few miles to get to the area of  totality and being a photographer he took some AH-MAZING fotos.....
simply mind-blowing!

How can one not believe in God when He allows us to witness things that ONLY HE could orchestrate? Oh I'm sure there are those who explain it away "scientifically" in their own minds.....
but BELIEVERS KNOW that ONLY GOD could have put on such a display!

In that brief span of time all of America came together.....
all colors and religions and beliefs were united.
Hatred and bitterness and fighting were put aside as all eyes were looking upward!

Hmmm - upward.....
towards the SON.
 😎

Maybe.....
just maybe.....
God was trying to tell us something!
😊

Happy Tuesday, Y'all!

  1. wonderful thoughts, Debbie! I am in total agreement about how amazing that was...all of the nation looking UP toward the sun/SON! Oh, if it could only be so! Praying that soon every eye will be on the SON of God, and every knee will bow...and confess Jesus Christ as Lord! That day is coming soon. Thank you for this thoughtful post.

  2. Nope, no eclipse here...sad to say. The one in 2024 we will have a totality here in NY, like my son said, "Hopefully we will still be here." Great post, Debbie...smiles

  4. Yes, God was definitely trying to tell us something. If we can stop and be unified for a few minutes, why not for always? We did not get to see the eclipse here in central FL. It was cloudy and just seemed like it got darker like it would before a rain storm. No biggie here.

  6. Well I was at work and it was so cloudy we could not see anything. I did get to see some awesome pictures from friends on FB though. Yes Deb, God was trying to convey a message to us all. If only we would stop, listen and act. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  7. I was JUST listening to the song "God is Trying to Tell You Something" from The Color Purple! Yes! And He speaks beautifully.

    So do you:

"In that brief span of time all of America came together.....
all colors and religions and beliefs were united.
Hatred and bitterness and fighting were put aside as all eyes were looking upward!

    Hmmm - upward.....
    towards the SON"

    Woo!
