{ Friday Foto Friends #127 }

First of all, I can't believe I haven't posted anything at all since last Friday. I meant to, honestly, I did. I'm not sure where the time gets to these days. It can't have anything to do with my age.....
can it?!?!?

And, secondly.....
what in the world is going on with the weather? I know, I know, I said I wouldn't talk about it anymore, but seriously?!?!?  I know we're not in charge and we have absolutely no control over it and I have no doubt that God knows what He's doing, but this is April and we've seen SNOW this week. That just doesn't happen in this neck of the woods, Y'all!  But HOPEfully after the freezing temps from last night there's gonna be a warming trend.

In spite of the cold weather, just take a look at this gorgeous dogwood in my Momma's yard that I snapped a pic of yesterday afternoon.....

And did you notice those blue skies?

Just heavenly!

HOPE everybody has a wonderful weekend in your part of the world!

  5. Love that your dogwood is blooming so beautifully in spite of the freezing weather and snow!! Yes, it has been a strange winter/spring for everyone. Even here in Florida...we had some pretty chilly nights and days this past week, but it has warmed back up now. Maybe spring is finally settled down for everyone... Love that huge dogwood, and the blue skies are perfect! Our Master Designer Creator God makes all things beautiful!! Have a blessed and glorious weekend!

  7. I haven't seen any dogwoods blooming around my area yet. The Bradford Pears were beautiful and my apartment complex is littered with them! I hope the weather turns warm again and stays! Have a lovely day.

  9. Deb, that dogwood is beautiful! WOW! Girl, it's around 61 here today. This has been some crazy weather. Rain one day, high winds the next. Cold in the morning and warm in afternoons. Storms, hail and well....I just keep saying....The bible speaks of these types of things. I hope you have a good weekend. I am getting ready to watch oldest grandgirl play some soccer this evening and then another granddaughter tomorrow play softball. Mercy....Keeps me young I reckon! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
