{ Prayer Warriors }

Image result for philippians 1:19

Each morning (except Sunday's), I try to share on Instagram the verse from God's Word that speaks to my heart as I spend  time with Jesus. (I'd love to be Instagram friends with you - @nannie2four).
So often somebody will let me know that the verse is exactly what they needed to hear, too, and I know that's totally the Lord speaking to them, also, because God's Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Sharing these verses serves as a sort of a journal for me, too, because I'm much more of a visual person.  I need a "picture" to better understand things sometimes, so Instagram is a perfect way to keep track and go back and ponder over.

The reason this verse stood out to me was because of the Prayer Warriors in my life. There are several that I've called upon the last couple of years about a burden that I have, but I want to share one particular instance that happened this past SONday morning. Since we first started attending the church we belong to I've become close to several ladies in our SS class, but this one particular Friend definitely has been given the gifts of wisdom and discernment.   She and her husband have been married as long as I am old, so she's seen a lot in her lifetime and is able to give advice - without me even having to ask! She can read me like a book and immediately knows if there's something troubling me. So SONday morning, I came face to face with her as I headed to pick up our CHRISTmas cards and she stopped me and asked me a simple question of what was troubling me. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this "accidental" passing in the hallway was ordained by God. It was meant to happen. He already had it all planned out ahead of time.

And, I also know in my heart of hearts that this friend has been in prayer for me this week (along with others) because it's been the best week I've had in such a very long time as God is working on my attitude, something that she encouraged me to do by reminding me of my worth.  There are so many things that we have the head knowledge about, but need love and wisdom and kindness spoken to our hearts from time to time -
and that's exactly what this precious Lady did for me SONday morning!

The sun is shining outside my window as I type this and the SON is shining in my heart.

Happy Saturday, Y'all!
