{ SONday Morning - Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus }

I remember the first time I heard this song....it was in the church I grew up in and there was a lady from a neighboring church who came to sing for us. When she sang this song, oh how the lyrics just touched my soul. When I went to YouTube to look it up this morning, the very first one that popped up was this version by Alan Jackson - now I don't believe in coincidences but I do think that the good Lord lets things happen for a specific reason, whether we even know what that reason might be. Before I decided to post today and share this song, I had just typed up a letter to our sponsor child in Guatemala - whose name 'just happens' to be Alan.  And, I had told Pappy on Friday as we were leaving Arby's and a song by Alan Jackson was playing how much I loved to hear him sing.

Do I know why all of this seems to be linked together?

Nope!

Maybe it's just to make my 💜 happy!

HPE your SONday is full of blessings!

  1. God knows just how to bless us when we need it most! I love all His little "coincidences" that are really just love blessings to His precious children. Welcome back to blogging. Your voice is needed here in blogland. Have a blessed and beautiful SONday. BTW, we sing that song every Sunday morning as they light the candles. A very precious moment of worship for me.
