One Thousand Gifts

For quite some time, I've followed Ms. Ann Voskamp's blog, A Holy Experience. 

She wrote a book which has been a best seller, One Thousand Gifts.

Tomorrow night, close to fifty ladies in our church have signed up to meet together and this book will be the heart of our discussion, to be led by our  pastor's wife, Ms. Tracy.  She has given us a brief intro the last couple of SONday mornings and she speaks in her soft voice thru tears in her eyes about how much this book touched her, as she read it in two days because it was borrowed and took notes on the envelope she was using as a bookmark.

This is the first study I've been a part of in a long time....and I'm very excited to see how God pours His Spirit and blessings down on this room full of women.

Study of Jeremiah 29:11-12!!!

I met Ms. Cindy a couple of years ago in the world of blogs, then she quit blogging for a bit.  When she started back up, we commented on each other's blogs a few times, but somewhere along the way we became friends.  Although we've never met, we know we have one HUGE thing in common....our love for our Lord!!! 

Ms. Cindy is going to be doing a study entitled "Our HOPE and Future", by Donna Pyle with the focus being on Jeremiah 29:11-12 (can you tell why it got me all excited?!?!?)  She is leading the study at her church as a summer Bible study for women, but after lots of encouragement....and a bit of begging....she contacted Ms. Donna Pyle and she agreed to allow her to do an on-line study, too.  I've already paid for and downloaded my copy (only $5.00) and I'm all ready to go as soon as Ms. Cindy says "START"!!!!
