Ginny Owens and Thanks Friend

I've said before how much I love music.....I really listen to the lyrics and sometimes they just touch my heart so much...as my precious prayer partner and I discussed last week....we have to know that so many of the lyrics have to be Holy Spirit inspired, or else why would they touch our hearts the way they do???

I heard a song on Love 89 that I really liked...the name of the song is

"If You Want Me To"

The singer is Ginny Owens. I did a bit of research on her...here's a link to a small biography about her:

She also has a MySpace page where you can listen to some of her songs:

This lady has been totally blind since the age of 2....please take a little time and read about her and listen to some of her music. She is amazing.

Also....I want to say hello to a lady I've known for several years. Our friendship started when she began working at the same place I did, but in a different office. She tells me that she had prayed that God would lead her to a place where she would have a Christian friend, and she found me....actually we found each other. We hit it off immediately, and have remained friends even though I no longer work there. God has blessed me by placing some very dear, special, precious people in my life, and she is one of them. We had lunch together today, and wound up being there about 2 hours just sitting and talking...the waiter must have felt sorry for us...or was prompting us to leave...he brought each of us a to-go tea and we hadn't even asked for it!!!

So.....thank you for a very special day...and thank you for your friendship. Like you said...it is like getting a booster shot when we get together!!!!
