New Playlist Songs

Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power. Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.”Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!
Psalm 66:3-5 (NLT)

If you like music...and who doesn't?!....I've added a few new songs to my Playlist, if you're interested. Please, please listen to "Beautiful Scandalous Night" by Bebo Norman and Sixpence None the Richer. I think it's an older song, but it is so precious. Also, "Nothing Without You", by Bebo Norman (notice I'm into Bebo Norman right now) will really touch your heart and you'll find yourself singing along...and it will start coming from your heart and straight to God. I added "I'll Fly Away", sung by Jars of Clay. That was one of my Daddy's favorite songs. I have tears and chills just writing that!!! So...in honor of my precious, precious Daddy, I added that one just for him. One of my mother-in-law's favorite songs was "How Great Thou Art". I added that one, sung by Loretta Lynn, and as soon as I heard her start singing, I was taken back to when I was a little girl and heard my Aunt Ann sing along with the radio!!! And...last, but not least...I dedicate "If You Could See What I See" by Geoff Moore and the Distance to Pappy.
Listen closely to the words to that song.

Sometimes during the day while I'm busy doing other things....I'll just go to my blog and let those songs play...and worship the Lord with song!!! Try it sometime...it's much better than listening to secular music because eventually you're going to get so filled with the joy that only worshipping the Lord can bring!!! And...while you're listening....everything else going on in your world just seems to fade away...and it's just you and the Lord!! How much better can it get than that?!?!?! If you get a chance, leave me a message and let me know some of your favorite songs...and how you worship the Lord thru music and song!!!

In His Love...and with mine!!!

  1. hey debbie, I've missed your blogs while I was out of town!
one of my all time favorites is, "the garden" or in the garden, not sure of the title right now, but I think just 'the garden'
(I come to the garden alone....while the dew is still on the roses.......)
I know its strange, but Charlie Daniels sings this , and he's my favorite person to hear sing this!
it gives me chills and brings me to tears every time.
    love you!

  2. I like Chris Tomlin's version of "Amazing Grace". I could listen to it all day.
