Happy Birthday, Jess!!!

Twenty-nine years ago today....at 11:42 A.M. to be exact...Pappy and I became parents to an adorable 8 lb 1 oz, precious baby girl!!! I think that is a big reason why this is my favorite time of year!!! Where in the world do we begin to even tell her how much she means to us?!?!?! For those of you who know her well, you know exactly what kind of person she is and what a huge heart she has. She has always been that way. When she was little, she smiled at a man in a store and she got so upset that he didn't smile back. She can always tell just by the tone of my voice if something is bothering me...and she knows just what to do to make me laugh and feel better!!!

God blessed us with such a wonderful Christian daughter...who gave us no trouble at all (except, Pappy started turning gray when she started driving...ha! ha!)....and she in turn blessed us with a "son" when she married The Dad....and they have doubly blessed us with Big Brother and Little Bit. Jess accepted Jesus into her heart at the age of 8 years old at VBS and knows how important it is to raise the boys in a Christian home and to keep them in church!! Big Brother is already saying his prayers at meals and bedtime!!! I love watching her be a Mommy and see the love she has for our grandsons!!!
We wish for her nothing but the very best in life...and want her to know how very much we love her...and how proud she makes us!!!

Happy, happy birthday, precious daughter!!!
Children are a gift from the Lord;
they are a reward from him.
Psalm 127:3 (NLT)

In His Love...and with mine!!!
