Ten Ways to Make Your Faith Stronger

I came across this list of "Ten Ways to Make Your Faith Stronger", but it was just a list...there was no scripture to go along with it. So, I looked up some Bible verses that I feel apply to each item listed. Is my faith always what it should be??? Not at all. I spent a big part of last Friday "future tripping", and did it get me anywhere...did it solve any problems? The answer to that is a big fat NO!!! I prayed a prayer Friday morning....and by the afternoon God had answered my prayer....not how I had hoped...but in His own way, and who am I to question that He knows best? Like I said last week....if Jesus has my best interests at heart and is praying for me....why do I even find the need to worry?
Would one of you please remind me of that the next time I get the blahs....please?!?!?!

Ten Ways to Make Your Faith Stronger

1. Praise God
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
Psalm 30:12

2. Pray for others
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16

3. Thank God for your blessings
Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
I Chronicles 29:13

4. Read Your Bible
So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Deuteronomy 28:14

5. Forgive Others
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
Matthew 6:14

6. Offer God's Love to everyone you meet
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;
in honour preferring one another.
Romans 12:10

7. Donate your time to help others
If you see that your neighbor’s donkey, or ox, has collapsed on the road, do not look the other way. Go and help your neighbor get it back on its feet!
Deuteronomy 22:4

8. Despise Sin
Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts. Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.
Ezekiel 26:30-32

9. Seek God in all you do
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.
Psalm 63:1

10. Share your faith
But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God.
And I want all of you to share that joy.
Philippians 2:17
In His Love...and with mine!!!
