One Final Thought....I PROMISE!!!

Okay....you know the saying about beating a dead horse....well, that's probably what's happening with this train of thought concerning getting along with others....but, I have one final thought to share with you!!!
After church last night, Pappy and I sat down and watched a movie together....something that we rarely do. We watched "Flywheel". This movie is by the same producers of "Fireproof" and "Facing the Giants" (which I haven't watched yet). If you haven't seen "Flywheel", please rent it, borrow it from us, borrow it from a friend....but, please take the time to watch it. I want to share one little part of this amazing story with you. It's the part where the man becomes angry because of things being said about him. He wants so desperately to defend himself, but instead goes off by himself and prays, and leaves his defense.....his vengeance.....in the hands of the Lord. I won't give away the movie to you, in case you want to watch it...but, the Lord takes care of it!!!!
For some time now, I've felt the need to go back and correct some things that happened in my past....to "set the record straight"....but I woke up around 4:00 this morning and this particular part of that movie was on my mind....and I felt such a peace and calm in my heart. I knew exactly what I needed to do about the situation.....NOTHING!!!! Let the Lord take care of it!!! Turn it over to HIM....and like Ms. Thelma said yesterday (and again, I felt God speaking to me thru her teaching)....cast that care behind me and walk forward....don't turn around and pick it back up....don't even look back!!!!

I know that it was the Lord who led Pappy to choose that movie for us to watch....because God knew I needed it. I feel soooooo much better this morning!!!

Thank you Pappy...thank you, Lord!!!

Romans 12:19 (NLT)
Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the L
ord.

I Peter 5:7 (KJV)
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
In His Love....and with mine!!!

  1. That's the only movie I haven't see out of the 3. I would like to see it with the kids. Facing the Giant is good too.

There are things in my past that I'd like to fix but can't. Can't live in the past. We often try to cast our troubles but often we turn around and pick them up. But as well as you know, God is in control and we need to keep our casts on Him and let Him take care of them. You might like my blog today. It's off a small card I picked up with the Jeremiah card I gave you.

And yes I thank the Lord I got to see that man carry that cross not once but twice. I think about that alot. Pick up my cross and follow!
