Definition of engrave: cut or impressed into a surface
One of the things impressed upon my heart as we went thru the Esther Bible study was something that Beth Moore said as we watched the DVD of each week's lesson. She talked about holding something like a piece of metal in our hands....and holding it very tightly....squeezing the object very hard....and the impression that would be left on our hands.
Do you realize....that God holds onto us just the very same way....so tightly that we are engraved on the palms of His hands?!?!?!
Well...He does!!
Isaiah 49:16a (NIV) - See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.
Our sins were engraved on the hands and feet of our precious Savior!!!
AMEN...and AMEN!!!
