"I Die Someday"

I picked up Big Brother at Mother's Day Out yesterday afternoon. He's getting so big and talks sooooo much. He was a little shy when I first got there because he's used to his Mommy coming after him....but as soon as we walked out the door...he started talking and asking questions and it didn't let up until I got him home!!!
I took him thru the drive-thru at Micky D's to get him and Baby Brother a couple of hot fudge sundaes. As we were waiting in line....he said...."Nannie, I die some day". I said "WHAT???"....he repeated....."I die some day". I asked why he asked me that and he said "Nannie die". I was about to question where he had heard talk about dying...when I realized he was saying "DRIVE"....not "DIE"!!!
Whew!!!
Glad I figured that one out before I went off trying to explain something that I had no clue where to start explaining to a 3 year old!!!
Do you think it's time to invest in a hearing aid?!?! ha! ha!

But....yes, all of us are gonna die some day!!

And...none of us know when.

We all pretty much think we're invincible, don't you think?
We hear of accidents, or people with diseases, and we sometimes think
"that'll never happen to me".
Well....it can happen to any of us.
We have no promise of tomorrow....or even our next breath....so we all have to make sure...right here and now...that we're ready to go...that we've asked Jesus into our hearts....that if we should die suddenly....today...tonight...tomorrow....next week....100 years from now....we'll know that we know that we know....that we'll spend eternity with Jesus...in heaven!
James 4:14 (NLT)
How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow?
Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.
In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. Kids are cute when they are young and they say the darnedest (splling?) things. I just pray I don't live 100 years from now, getting old is already bad enough. Don't need to worry about a 100 more years of getting old! LOL Love ya.... :)

P.S. Did you catch the Biggest Loser last night------------calories in/calories out!!
