Praise

I mentioned to some of you a few weeks ago what music does for me....how so many times just listening to a song can fill me up with so much joy that I feel like I'm going to explode. I know I'm not alone in feeling this way!!!
Do you realize that's one reason why we'll all be getting a brand new body in heaven....a glorious body....a body like HIS?

Philippians 3:21 (NLT)
He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

Because these weak mortal bodies won't be able to contain the emotions that we'll experience in heaven...we'll receive a new body that can!!!
Doesn't that just make you want to shout?
I was flipping thru one of my older Bibles and came across Psalm 150 and I had the word "praise" highlighted each time its mentioned in that chapter.
What does the word "praise" mean to you?
Here are the definitions I found:

an expression of approval and commendation;

express approval of;

offering words of homage as an act of worship
What better way to show our acts of worship...than praising our precious Savior...thru music...and song?
Psalm 150
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven! Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. Praise!! I have thought about this a lot lately. I really like the song, "I will praise you in this storm". I heard a preacher say on the radio yesterday when is the last time you thank God for allowing something not to happen. Praise Him all the time in the valley on the mountain tops.
    Yes, I can not wait to get that new body in Heaven no more pain. I guess I could have posted this topic today.
