A Thought for Tuesday

Job 37:6 (NLT)
“He directs the snow to fall on the earth and tells the rain to pour down.

I got up early yesterday morning....as soon as Pappy's alarm went off. I try not to get up, even if I'm dying to go potty...I know that's TMI...but I at least wait until I know he's awake so that he can sleep as long as possible before he has to crawl out and go to work.
I figure that's the least I can do since he's the sole "bread-winner"!

Any-who....
....I looked outside because the weather forecast was for more SNOW....and all I saw was wet. I crawled back into bed and told him that I saw no snow, but he might want to leave early....just in case....the "wet" I saw was actually ice. Right before he left for work, he came and told me that it was snowing....and about an hour later, everything was covered in a layer of white.
What is it about snow that makes everything seem so clean and pure?
I think because it's a reminder of Jesus!!!
Remember the little saying about how Jesus' blood can cover our black sins and wash them white as snow?!?!

Psalm 51:7 (NLT)
Purify me from my sins. and I will be clean;  wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

 Just a thought!!!

Blessings to you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. I just love the snow. I like to go outside and just listen. Listen to what you say, the peace of it, it is tranquil. The other reason it reminds us of Jesus, is Jesus is pure and blameless and the snow reminds me of that for it is pure white! Clean! Great post love ya........... :)
