The Holy Spirit is praying for me

 ***Edited to add***
Please pray for my friend, Ms. Evelyn and her daughter, Kathy.  They are right now at the hospital to see if Kathy is healthy enough to take her chemo today.  They truly need to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Have you ever been in a situation where you just weren't even sure what to pray for?
Maybe  you're faced with a critically ill family member, or you have a problem that just seems so hopeless!

I have a sweet friend that I walk with in the mornings. I've told y'all about her before. Her daughter is in Stage 4 cancer. The cancer is in her breast, lungs, adrenal glands....and spots have been found on her liver.  I love this precious lady to pieces and I know that God has placed us together. She is the same age as my own Mom.  She's already
been thru the death of her husband to cancer and also her other daughter.  Her sister has cancer, and this particular sister has already lost 2 sons to cancer.  She told me as we  walked and talked about the Lord....that she just didn't know what to  even ask God for concerning her daughter and her illness. I believe with all my heart....because that's what scripture tells me.....that  when we reach a point where we don't know what to pray for, or even where to begin to voice our concerns to the Lord....that the Holy Spirit steps in and does that for us!!!

If you're faced with  times that you just can't put your prayer into words....remember these verses of scripture:

Romans
8:26-27 (NLT) - And the Holy Spirit helps us in our
weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray  for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed  in
words.  And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

Blessings to you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. This really IS a "hopeful thought", Deb--that when we don't know how to pray, the Holy Spirit does it for us.

Your friend has certainly been through a lot. She is blessed to have you walking side-by-side with her. May God minister comfort and peace through you and TO you today.

  2. Angels among us, came to mind. God placed you in Evelyn's life to pray for her, with her, carry her hearts burden, in her daily struggles.

Where would we be without God? I can not imagine!

Blessings and prayers for you, your friend and her daughter.

  3. Oh I have been there and there now for a dear family that is like family to me who's step mom is losing the battle with cancer. She was wanting to be baptised this sunday, but has went down hill and not sure if she will make it till then so they took her to church today and she was able to be baptised!!! Praise God! Alot of her side of the family have come to know the Lord last couple months and its because of her, sometimes people go through things to get to others who would be lost other wise.

I also believe he puts people in our paths so that we can be that strong shoulder they may need, and your dear frined needs that shoulder and person to lean on and thats you sis. God Bless you I will be praying for this dear friend of yours and her daughter.
