What a blessed day I've had!!

I don't usually post twice in one day....but I just have to share some things that happened to me today.  I had an early appointment so I didn't get to walk.  The appointment went sooooo well.  My doctor was in a fantastic mood, and we chatted longer than my allotted appointment time...but guess what....or Who....we talked about?
THE LORD!!!
What a blessing to have a Christian doctor!!!
I had to go to CVS to pick up a prescription....and right beside my car was some landscaping....and guess what landed right beside me in the mulch?!?!?
A BRIGHT RED CARDINAL!!!
Now...if you're a new follower of this blog, you might have to go to "search this blog" and type in cardinal....and read why they mean so much to me.  As my friend told me....they show up just where and when God tells them....and so whenever I see one I automatically say...often out loud....
...."I love you, too, Lord"!!!

As I was trying to find a check-out lane that wasn't backed up to the middle of the store, a cashier opened up her lane just as I pushed my buggy by and she motioned me into her lane.  I gave God the praise for that one, too.

On the way home, there was a big flock of wild turkeys over in the field....and just as I passed by them....there was a little baby fawn in the road that both me and another driver stopped to watch run off down thru the field.

And....the rain held off until I got home and got my bags into the house!!!
Ain't God good?
Oh, yes HE is!!!

How I love being in just the right place at the right time....for God to "show off"!!!

Hope the rest of you are having a day full of God's blessings!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. Sounds like a perfect day. We put out bird seeds so the Cardinals will stay around. Today something strange happened. There was a pigeon and a red Cardinal on the same feeder. The pigeons usually run the Cardinals off, but this one was just sitting there waiting patiently. (By the way, the pigeons drive me nuts, but we still put out seed so we can keep the little birds around all winter.) Sitting on my patio and watching the birds play and eat is one of my favorite things to do.

  4. How wonderful to recognize and record these "God sightings"! Thanks for reminding me of the faithfulnesses of God - in large and small things...in ALL things!
