Why are we so afraid to talk to our Lord?

 Psalm 86:1-7 (NLT)
Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help.
It's me again, Lord....Deb....calling on You for Your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Protect me, dear Lord....most of all from myself and the sometimes rash decisions and statements that I make.  I love you so much and want to be your devoted servant, even though I make so many mistakes.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you. You are my God.
I know that You saved me from my sins when You sent Jesus to die for me....but You also continually save me each and every day....sometimes from situations that I'm not even aware ofYou are MY God....I claim You as my very own!!!
Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly.
I do feel like I'm making a request of you constantly, O Lord....but I know that You don't mind....especially when I take the time to just say "thanks"!!!
Give me happiness, O Lord,  for I give myself to you.
Oh, the blessings that come from You and You alone.  You already know that I've offered myself to You, Lord....to serve You and to hopefully bring glory to Your name in whatever I try to do!
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Amazing is what You are, Lord.....totally AMAZING!!!  You continue to love....even me!!!  All I have to do is ask....and You answer my prayers.....not always in the way that I want....but in the way that's best for me....Your way!!!
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;  hear my urgent cry.  I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,  and you will answer me.
You have never failed me....and I know that You never will!!!

In Jesus Most Blessed and Holy Name....AMEN!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  2. I love the way you are talking to HIM like he is right there - a regular conversation. I found you through Seams Inspired and wanted to say Hello! I believe God directed me to your blog too. Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses from the Bible!
