He's still working on me.....

......to make me what I ought to be.
It took Him just a week to make the moon and stars,
The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars.
How loving and patient He must be,
He's still working on me.

There really ought to be a sign upon the heart,
Don't judge her yet, there's an unfinished part.
But I'll be perfect just according to His plan
Fashioned by the Master's loving hands.

I love this little kids' song....but is it really just for children?
No....I don't think so!!

After my post this morning about
"Living Peaceably"....
....I received such wonderful comments and e-mails.  From what so many of you told me....the old devil is doing all he can to interfere with friendships.
You all offered encouragement....kind words....and support.   Then....this afternoon when Pappy brought in our mail....there were two cards from special friends at church.  One was a "just because" card from a lady who told me she's praying for me....the other one was a thank you card....but the words that my friend wrote helped me more than I could have ever helped her.

So....yes....
He's STILL working on me....even at my age!!!
I believe what He's trying to teach me....
....has everything to do with GRACE.

The grace that HE extends to me....
....I should be more than willing to extend to others!!!

Thanks, precious friends!!!

You will NEVER know what you mean to me!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  3. I remember singing this as a little child. As an adult, I worked as Day Camp Director for the YMCA. They sent us to Ohio for a Christian Leadership Conference. This song was the theme of the conference. I remember winning a t-shirt that was so cute...a little cartoony person being "built". What a great memory to recall. Thank you!
