Going around the mountain!!!

Tuesday morning, during my quiet time with the Lord....I took the same old struggle to Him....yet again.  I know He gets so tired of me bringing it up so often!!!  I told my sweet friend that I felt like I was "beating a dead horse"!!!   As I was working in the kitchen a bit later, the thought came to mind...."you've  gone around this mountain long enough".  Jess called and asked if I could take care of our baby GRAND-son because he had a rough night and she wasn't going to take him to school.  When I got to her house, he was still asleep, so I sat down in the chair to read....and, here's what was staring back at me on the page....a quotation from Ruth Graham....

"You have circled this mountain long enough.
Now turn north."
(Deuteronomy 2:3)

I know this "revelation" was from my precious Savior.  I'm still not sure what "turn north" really means for the situation that I've been taking to the Lord....but, I do know that He wants me to get on with it....quit struggling with this same old problem over and over....and to quit "fighting" with Him in what needs to be done.

I wrote a post last fall that had something to do with the same struggle that seems to keep resurfacing in my life called "At A Crossroads".
I'm still there....but I do see things getting a bit clearer!!!

Even though the road is still rocky and uncertain....I know that HE is there to help us and to shed HIS light on our pathway!!!

Do you have a problem that seems to be on-going that you just can't seem to get a definite answer from the Lord about?

Psalm 25:4-5
Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my HOPE in you!!!

In His Most Precious Love....and with mine!!!

  1. I seem to always have the fear of the unknown. Last, Wednesday at work something was said that I really could have let it offend me. But a co-worker said let it roll off your back and forget about it. The situation worked itself out the next day and yesterday the problem was completely resolved.

  2. Oh Deb how amazing! About 2 weeks ago as I was waking up < was very sleepy > the LORD spoke to me and said, Move to the North ...now due to my study of the Old Testament Tabernacle ...I knew that the NORTH is a most awesome place Deb. The North in the Mosaic Tabernacle is where you find the Table of Shewbread < 12 loaves of bread > ...and these 12 loaves of bread are representative of His 12 Governmental names....Hallelujah ...gonna get Pentecostal on ya in a minute .. wink wink ...In the "bread" or the 12 Governmental Names you find strength . b/c it is His Word ..His Manna ...
So I knew that the LORD was encouraging to feed more upon his Word and to allow His Governmental Name govern my "each" day. Powerful! Isn't it amazing ....that the LORD is speaking the same message to the both of us miles and miles apart? Love ya Deb

  3. My pastor's wife said last night (about the taking stuff to God over and over again) - keep taking it to God . . . it's when we don't that gets us in trouble. I'm glad to see that being before the Lord brought you an answer. Be blessed today as you continue to seek His will.

  5. Sometimes I feel my constant repetitive prayers weary the Lord. I just sit there and tell him the 'same old same old'. I feel in my heart He knows my desires and will guide me...the key is for me to listen and do!
I looked up your scripture in Deut. and read most of the chapter. He gets pretty specific about what Moses and the Israelite's are supposed to do.
Our modern day prophet is telling us what the Lord wants us to do and I find that very reassuring.
    Have a great day!
Thanks for your goodness and for such inspiring and thought-filled posts!
